And we are back....

Wow, Covid  made life wonky for a while

I am back and have been crocheting the whole time.

Now...to sell my crafts

I will be selling crochet for the first time later this month.

So, perhaps I will make some money.

I only buy the yarn on sale and have gotten a lot for free.

For the Craft Show, I am sticking with the Frugal,  Reusable items.

Dishcloths/washcloths. face scrubbies, market bags, coasters, Swiffer covers, soap savers

Practically free

 Well... very frugal

I found yarn on FB Marketplace for out 75% off retail price (cheaper even if I had used a coupon)

So, of course, I bought it

And was able to make a super soft blanket for a friend

Never hurts to ask

Found meat to be marked down at my local Giant.  Meat Manager said he could not sell it to me, expired, but they freeze it and send to food bank.  Umm ok.

So I asked about the Policy

He thanked me for finding the expired meat and offered to mark down fresh meat 50%

(Picture was from a couple days ago)

COVID Crafts

I taught myself to crochet during lockdown

I have been able to sell some of my dishcloths and make gifts for friends and family

I buy the yarn for FB Marketplace.  I got a whole garbage bag for 5 dollars!

I made an afghan from it

Soap Saver

My cousin mentioned a soap saver

So I made one...ok two

One big for a bar of soap and a small one for me for all the little shards I have saved

And also made a little soap mat

Electric

Today I renegotiated our Electric bill

If I had not, we would be paying 180.00 more a year when the rates went up.

I found an even lower rate.  Saving us 200.00 a year. (Compared to if we had the rates go up)

Saving money is great, but you have to be on top of it.  This new contract will expire in 1 year.
