We were going to go to the library, but he opted to stay home and have me read Harry Potter to him.

Also we are out of bread, so we made some.
Quality time with kid and able to sneak in math lesson. (Measuring)
Had all the ingredients and didn't drive to get bread.
Snack time...made granola
Quality time with kid, more math and telling time (Had to stir granola every 15 min)
So far, no money spent today. Woo Hoo

Portuguese White Bread

3 tablespoons margarine
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
3 cups white flour
1 1/2 teaspoons bread machine yeast
Add all ingredients in order listed into your bread machine. Choose the”basic” cycle and wait for the perfect loaf of white bread to appear! Yes, it is that simple!
HOWEVER...I put it on DOUGH cycle...when done, I divide into 2 loaves, put in oiled floured bread pan, let rise 30 min, bake 30 on 350
