Store cards

Store cards...
A hassle?  Maybe
But they do pay off.
I get online coupons, plus the store's sale prices.
Then I used regular coupons as well.
The products shown cost me 19.xx out of pocket.
LESS Than A Twenty Dollar bill.
Waffles for .80 cents a box, I can't make them that cheap.
Kraft Mac and Cheese, a good staple to have a round. Stock up when on sale.
Campbell's Soup, another staple especially for cooler weather.
You can't see, but there are 3 packs of toilet paper...

Dollar store

A while back I needed black barrettes.
The dollar store had off brand black ones, really flimsy.
And they had brand name silver ones.
I bought the brand name.  I had spray paint at home.
Now I have brand name black barrettes, just what I needed.

A Treat

Chocolate croissant
Love them
At the bakery you can pay 2.50 to 6.00 for one.
I got these from Traders Joes.  (recommended by my cousin Tara)
4.99 for a box.
Normally I would think that is expensive.  5 bucks.
But it is a box of 4.
And they are really, really good.
So 1.25 for a super tasty, flaky croissant...Good Deal
They look like Sloths

Small Print

I cancelled our paper a while ago.
We just got the Sunday paper, mostly for coupons.  It got to be over 4.00 just for one paper.
I can get coupons online.
I received this in the mail.
Good deal.
BUT CHECK OUT SMALL PRINT
$4.00 extra just to sign up. Plus automatic renewal at higher rate.
17.00 still a good deal for the Sunday paper for 13 weeks.
But ask yourself is it worth the hassle to remember to cancel before rates go up?
BUT WAIT THERE IS MORE..."may receive additional special editions and charged for them."
I will pass on this so called Deal

Unconventional dinner 2

Again...scrounging in the panty and fridge to see what we have.
Rice, egg, left over pork from last time we made dumplings,
carrot, onions, left over broccoli...

Flour and water to make dumpling dough.
Saute onion and carrot, scramble egg to make fried rice.
